Well, last week was pretty epic huge. A whole mess of stuff happened, and you know what? I'm pretty happy with it.
So, on Monday (and Tuesday for that matter), NOTHING HAPPENED. Incredible, I know, but that's how it is. It just is.
Wednesday is when the insanity starts (I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it - Mark Twain). At first, it was normal - nothing happened - and then I went to my friend's house after school to play Ace Combat 6. Oh, how I love that game. I got to the second mission, but then I had to go because of the next insane thing, which was the CARDBOARD CANOE COMPETITION. My friend and I (he has a blog: Subtle Sublimity) sailed our duct-tape covered canoe to victory. And by victory, I mean to the third round, two capsizings, a minor panic attack, and a 100% in the Physics grade book. I got to pilot the ship once; my friend got to ride twice (almost a third time; we both tried to get in. Capsizing #1). Afterwards, we threw it out. I guess the trebuchet remains our pride and joy. For those of you who don't know about it, you may want to brush up on your history. He's the same friend.
On Thursday, English was normal (I like The Great Gatsby), Spanish was :P, as always. It was in the next half hour that the insanity got squared. My English teacher, Mr. Coal-miner (not his real name. I never post real names on here, you should know that.) announced that "Tabula Rasa" has been released, and I got stoked. The school was holding us for half an hour to pass out yearbooks (to a several classes of 20-30 people), so naturally, I decided to go do something interesting (with permission, of course). So, I helped with Tabula Rasa, and, wouldn't you know it, a piece of MY WRITING was published in it! That's right, I'm published! It feels so good to say that. I probably won't post the story onto the blog; it kinda redundant-izes the thing.
So, on to Graphic Art II. It's awesome, getting to do art on a computer every day. Only this time, I'm doing something that I wish I could constantly work on. So, here's my concept. While I was sketching out two of my characters facing each other off (with a cool sketch pad you plug into the computer - hint-hint) on Photoshop (hint-hint again, even though my birthday and Christmas are over 6 months away), I was planning on finding the right colors to plug into the outlines. Then it hit me. In a burst of excitement (some embellishment is added), I finished off the outlines, went to Google Images (after bypassing the school security system - don't worry, my hacking "skills" were not involved), and searched out some images. Now, you might be thinking: "What?" That's what my blog's about. Now, you will say "Ah," soon. The characters names are Volcark and Emerald, made out of fire/steel and like emerald, respectively. I searched out images that comprise these things and photoshopped them into the outlines. Emerald is carrying a large double-sided war axe of space and time, and on one half, I put in a picture of a golden pocket watch, and in the other half, I put in a cool picture of space. It's pretty impressive, if I do say so myself. And I do. I'll post the picture once I finish it.
Now, onto physics. I played a couple of video games, and worked some more on my GA2 project. It was more insane than that, but...
After school now. I got this cool game called Minecraft! Lemme tell you somethin': worth all twenty-one dollars, of which my brother owes me ten. I started building an epic huge tower, I have a large mine, a cool bridge made 1/3 out of glass, and an entire floor of glass. This tower is called Cobblestone Pillar, because it's primarily made out of cobblestone. I might rework the base, however, to allow for a moat of lava, a cool drawbridge system, and a stone base for greater protection from the creepers that I will eventually allow into my game. But if that wasn't cool enough, I'm planning another project for which the map is called: Cloudspear. A massive, floating tower with a garden, large storage room, massive drawbridge, forgery, maybe a floor in which "mobs" are supposed to spawn, a garden, a craftsman's room, a bedroom, a gallery, and more. It's a massive project, but one that I'll be proud to build.
Now, about Friday. Mmm.... I took my math final, and that was the day I completed Cobblestone Pillar.
Saturday. I built the bridge, and worked for a couple of hours at the farm where corn is being grown to help fund my Church mission, as well as others's.
Now, a group comprising of me and my friends are now planning on developing an indie game. I've drawn up character concept art, and one of my friends has began developing them in a 3-D rendering system known as Blender. I'll bring you more as it comes.
Green Knight is off the interwebz!
This cake is great, it's so delicious and moist - Look at me still talking when there's science to do.

These are the Voyages of the (Star)ship Cardboard Enterprise
Well here we are again.
It's always such a pleasure.
Remember when you tried to kill me twice? How we laughed and laughed. Except I wasn't laughing.
Oops, wrong thing. That's the first few lines of the Portal 2 song, which is related to the description you see above this post. That's from the first game. No, I'm not advertising, I just felt like it'd be a good way to start a post.
So, here's the deal. Yesterday, with my friend in Physics, we built a canoe. Out of cardboard and duct tape. Will it float? ...I sure hope so. I didn't do any math to check, and neither did my friend. The entire bottom half is covered in less than $10 worth of duct tape, giving it a silver sheen. And yes, using some of our valuable duct tape, I dubbed it the Cardboard Enterprise. It's ongoing mission: to get me and my friend a good grade. This friend is the same one who built the trebuchet with me.
And as I sit here, the sounds of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir flow serenely into my ears, ever so faintly, and it makes me realize: my voice and tone seem to have changed. I love that Choir so much....

It's Just an AVERAGE Post... Nothing to see HERE...
Okay, so I lied. There is something to see here. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? I knew it all along, too. Also, forget about that name thing earlier. I decided to go ahead and get all the names for every character in the book on my own. If you wanted to post a name, however, feel free to do so. I might use it in a future book, and you can say, "Hey, I chose that name!" and you'll forever be a part of that book. If it gets published, that is.
Anyways, my life has been fairly... not average... recently. AP tests, Ultimate Frisbee and State (which I doubt the school will recognize), AP tests, getting out-leagued in StarCraft II, AP tests, Mother's Day, and... well, I can't say AP tests again because I only have three. AP US History (on which I believe I got a 3 or a 4), Physics B (Which I haven't taken, but will probably get a 2 on), and AP Language and Composition (on which I'm expecting a 4... MINIMUM. You could say that I'm confident).
So... yeah, it's Mother's Day today, or it was if you read this tomorrow or any day after today. I can say that I did do something: I picked some flowers from the front yard. Yup, I did that. Uh... I'll do something else, too.
Okay, but back to my book. It's been further developed from what I had before, which was, and I quote, "...there's a girl, a planet called Apex, and a large ceremony thing that involves taxes, conventions, and trading" (Green Knight). See how I cited that correctly? AP ENGLISH, YOU'RE GOING DOWN! Anyways, back on topic. The good guys are called the United Human Empires of Space (UHES, subject to change), and, officially, there's no such thing as aliens. There's also a major corporation called SanDrom, Inc. The UHES has a super-elite force called Sigma, whose symbol is Σ, the Greek form of sigma, and several of the main characters are a part of it. I also know the girl's name - Copper Bitner - and her father used to be a part of SanDrom, Inc. But that's all I can tell you. Copper's father has a massive backstory to him, and I'm afraid that I can't tell you anymore about it. Suffice to say, the backstory is epic... it's the actual story that needs work now.
Well, that's all I got for ya. This blog is now alive again!

Science-Fictional
So, the AP Tests are looming overhead, so I think I might need something to do to de-stress-inate me. So, I'm a-goin' to a-write a novel. Again. Hopefully again. Well, I can't say "again" because I've never even written a full novel, let alone get one published. So let's just say this: I'm going to attempt to write a novel again, and this time, I WILL NOT FAIL! Why? Because this time, I know that first drafts are supposed to be absolutely appalling. That's why they're called first drafts (Crowd will now commence in a collective and elongated "Oh").
Sarcasm aside, I need names from you. Want me to mutilate it? Tell me so. Want me to leave it in pristine condition? Say so. But you may be asking, "From whence doth these names come?" I dunno, ANYWHERE! Your name, your grandmother's name, you yet-to-be-born great grandson's name, I'll even take a dead president's name (except Nixon, Johnson, and Clinton. If you can name the three things these names have in common [that I'm thinking about], I won't hesitate to use the name you suggest. Unless, of course, it's one of those three. But then again, Clinton isn't dead). You catch the name, I'll decide if I like it, and I might use it. But what do you get in return? ...Perhaps the knowledge that you helped a friend in need? I dunno. Maybe I'll give you a cookie. A picture of a cookie, at least, 'cause I don't think you'll want a cookie shipped to you in an envelope. Again, I don't know. I might think of something... even if nobody POSTS THE POTENTIAL CHARACTER NAME IN THE COMMENTS.
Anyways, I know nothing about this story, except that there's a girl, a planet called Apex, and a large ceremony thing that involves taxes, conventions, and trading.
Also, I noticed that only two of anyone who's ever visited voted on the polls. I'm pretty sure one of them was me, but to the other person: kudos.
Anyways, I've decided to drop the WAotW. Too much hassle.
