The Length of Paradoxium

Alright, I did some math.
TEoR (the next arc after PR) is looking to be about 200 comics long.
I have 5 more arcs planned after that.
If I estimate that all arcs are about 200 comics long (not including PR), then we have about 1280 comics total.
If I post at the rate I have been, that'll take 48 years to complete.

I either need to cut the fat or post a lot faster. And since I don't see myself being able to post about 3 comics a week any time soon (unless I get paid to do it, but even then, it'd be twice a week), the most viable option is to cut out the fat. And unfortunately, there's so much epic stuff I don't want that to happen.

Maybe I integrate future arcs even deeper with TEoR. It's a viable option, and might make it a little longer - but we'll see. A lot of it depends on the fandom, really.

Campaign to Get Paradoxium Returns it’s Own Domain

So, here’s the deal! I’m looking into getting Paradoxium Returns its own domain, meaning its own website. It’ll be the final step into completely and entirely owning it today, as earlier, I gave it a Creative Commons license. However, this is where things get a little complicated.
I’ve been looking at the webcomics that I follow (specifically Sandra and Woo/Gaia,Edmund Finney’s Quest to Find the Meaning of Lifexkcd, and Romantically Apocalyptic), and from what it seems, they all like using WordPress. Now, here are the issues with that. If I use WordPress, these things happen: I don’t get the option of excluding ads (sorry), and the domain name will cost $18. However, I’m not saying for sure that I’ll be going with WordPress; in the end, I may stick with Blogger or even a different site.
If I do go with WordPress, I’ll want as much money as possible to keep the domain name for as long as possible (currently looking like it’s going to be paradoxiumreturns.com), and by that, I mean at least 10 years. What that’ll come out to be depends on who I go with. Blogger/Google: $100. WordPress: $180.
Remember the commissions that I said I’d do for money? Now I have a purpose for the money that we can all agree on (for the most part). Until we reach the goal, 10% will be put aside for personal things, but the rest of the 90% of the funds will be put into a fund to get PR it’s own domain. For more information on commissions, click here.
This is the last step in my goal of getting PR it’s own site, and I don’t want to take people’s money just for a site. I also want to draw you things.

Information on providers that I’ve gathered (if you want to know):
Blogger: I like this because I’m already on here. However, there’s no optimization for comics here; no automatic “last” buttons, I have to make sure that I put in the links correctly, etc. On the other hand, this only costs $10/year for the private domain name alone.
WordPress: Comes with an expansion optimized for comics fittingly called ComicPress. I’m still figuring this out, but by the time I get to the goal, I’ll have either decided against it or figured it out entirely. It’s the optimization for comics that draws me in, but at the same time, just $18 for the custom domain and minimal customization? Eh… EDIT: I can’t even change the fonts without paying an extra $30. I don’t want to do this.
Tumblr: Although this is a wonderful platform we’re using, it just isn’t right forParadoxium Returns.

Arisen

You know those little areas on my comic after the comic itself  where I post things about my life? No longer! It's going here. And we all know what that means.

This blog is back from the dead!

Volcark and Skelgra

Mostly so I could get a link to this picture. Would you argue if I turned this into a "This is my art so be happy" blog?

And Now, the World as We Know It Comes to an End.

It's true. School's back, but you know what? I don't really care. It's going to be a good year. Why? One word: SENIOR!

This semester I have 5 AP classes, and... Okay, I'm not going to lie. I'm just here to make sure that the blog don't die. *Shivers* Don't ever let me do that again. That grammar just hurt me. On the inside.

Maybe I'll start posting non-Paradoxium stories on this blog. Idk.

Later!

Initiate!

So, have my readers that don't comment on anything been enjoying my webcomic? I would hope so, but nobody tells me one way or another. *sighs*

Anyways, school starts on Tuesday. w00t. And you know what? I'm ranting here. SSSSSSSSsssssssssssSSSSSSSSSSsssssssss... boom. The rant is over.

So, my life has been okay. Um... I've got nothing. I just wanted to post.

I'm Doing [Blog Stuff] and I'm Still Alive!

So, what's with the not updating of the blog and the irregularity of it all? It's because I've been working on the webcomic, Paradoxium Returns. It's pretty sweet, if I do say so myself - and so do my cousins and the friends who've actually approached me about it.

But that's not the only reason I haven't really been blogging. You see, I suffer from something called laziness. It may be that everyone I know sees my Facebook page and would rather read up on my life there (I think), or it may be that I just don't get around to making the posts. Either way, the blog is still alive.

So, school. It starts at the end of the month and I still have two homework assignments to do, both of them requiring me to read a book. For the AP US Government one (don't judge me on this), I'm going to choose the shortest book possible, because I want to finish reading The Wheel of Time series (First book drags on for the first 2/3s, but from there, it gets really good). I'll do the assignment, then be done with the class... until it starts (hopefully) two weeks later.

Also, I have to do AP Literature and Composition homework. Read a 500-page book about five girls complaining about living in Africa away from their home in Georgia, then write a 4-6 page analysis of it (we'll be down four pieces of paper at the end of this). w00t. I've actually started this book, and let me tell you: I don't like it. It's just not my style of book. I won't go into why, as I'm short on time, but there's only one character keeping me reading the book without dying - mentally, that is. Her name is Adah (that's correct, Chrome, I don't care what your spell checker says), and though she's hemiplegic (that's a word, Chrome. Stop spell-checking me), she's the smartest character in the book, in my opinion. And the one with the most character.

Anyways, my family might be getting a laptop soon, so I might start posting more often. At least, I'll be able to work more on the webcomic.

THE GREEN KNIGHT
is posting this post... now. After I put on the tags.

P.S. All I know about the Government assignment is that I have to fill out a packet thingy and read a book. If you have it, could you send it to me? Thanks!

P.P.S. Doctor Who is the greatest TV show ever. No contest.
